Gold Price Hits New Record, Reaches Rs 161,200 per Tola

Kathmandu: The price of gold surged by Rs 500 per tola (11.66 grams) on Friday, setting a new record of Rs 161,200 per tola in the domestic market. This follows Thursday's price of Rs 160,700, as reported by the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
While gold prices continue to rise, silver prices have remained stable. The price of silver has been fixed at Rs 1,955 per tola, unchanged from the previous day.
